The Dutch Sapphire Parure Tiara

Historical Information :

The tiara was created in 1881 as a gift from King Willem III to Queen Emma. In 1934, after the death of Queen Emma, the tiara was inherited to her granddaughter, Queen Juliana (then Princess). Queen Beatrice inherited the tiara after Queen Juliana abdicated in 1980. The tiara is currently owned by Queen Maxima and it's one of her favourites.
