Queen Elizabeth II Nizam of Hyderabad Tiara
Fine Royal ReproductionsThe Nizam of Hyderabad Tiara tells a fascinating story of creation, destruction, and reinvention. Presented to Queen Elizabeth II (then Princess Elizabeth) as a wedding gift in 1947, the Nizam of Hyderabad famously instructed her to choose anything she desired from the jeweler's stock. She selected this exquisite English floral tiara, featuring a garland of diamond-encrusted roses and foliage. While the Queen wore it frequently in her early reign for iconic portraits, the Nizam of Hyderabad tiara met a rare fate: it was dismantled in 1973. The diamonds were removed and recycled to create the modern Burmese Ruby Tiara, leaving only three detachable rose brooches as survivors. Because the original frame no longer exists, our faithful replica offers the exclusive opportunity to witness and wear this "lost" masterpiece. It captures the regal height and intricate floral detailing of the original, preserving a chapter of royal history that can otherwise only be seen in black-and-white photographs.
